CREATIVE REUSE CENTER: WE ACCEPT DONATIONS OF REUSABLE MATERIALS AND MAKE THEM AVAILABLE AT LOW OR NO COST TO EDUCATORS, ARTISTS, AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN OUR SHOP. IN 2021 WE LOGGED 4,393 TRANSACTIONS IN OUR CENTER AND ONLINE STORE AND SUPPORTED 4 CREATIVE PROJECTS AT SCHOOLS, LIBRARIES, AND OTHERCOMMUNITY VENUES WITH FREE MATERIALS. BY ACCEPTING, PROCESSING, AND REDISTRIBUTING REUSABLE MATERIALS FROM BUSINESSES AND INDIVIDUALS, OUR CENTER DIVERTED OVER 9 TONS OF POTENTIAL WASTE FROM LANDFILLS,KEEPING RESOURCES IN OUR COMMUNITY, SUPPORTING ARTISTS AND EDUCATORS, AND REDUCING THE NEGATIVE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS OF CONSUMPTION.
CREATIVE EDUCATION PROGRAMS: OUR EDUCATION PROGRAMS PROVIDE HANDS-ON CREATIVE LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES THAT ENCOURAGE PEOPLE OF ALL AGES TO MAKE CONNECTIONS BETWEEN THE ARTS AND SUSTAINABILITY. IN 2021, CREATIVE REUSE PROVIDED CREATIVE REUSE ACTIVITIES FOR MORE THAN 400 PARTICIPANTS AT 16 EVENTS AND WORKSHOPS.
