SEE SCHEDULE OSCOTT & WHITE HOSPITAL - COLLEGE STATION DBA BAYLOR SCOTT & WHITE MEDICAL CENTER - COLLEGE STATION (BSW COLLEGE STATION) IS A FAITH-BASED, NONPROFIT, 142-BED ACUTE CARE HOSPITAL PROVIDING EXEMPLARY PATIENT CARE SERVICES TO THE RESIDENTS OF BRAZOS COUNTY AND THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES SINCE 2013. BSW COLLEGE STATION IS AFFILIATED WITH BAYLOR SCOTT & WHITE HEALTH (BSWH), A FAITH-BASED NATIONALLY ACCLAIMED NETWORK OF ACUTE CARE HOSPITALS AND RELATED HEALTH CARE ENTITIES PROVIDING QUALITY PATIENT CARE, MEDICAL EDUCATION, MEDICAL RESEARCH AND OTHER COMMUNITY SERVICES TO THE RESIDENTS OF NORTH AND CENTRAL TEXAS. AS THE LARGEST NOT-FOR-PROFIT HEALTH CARE SYSTEM IN TEXAS AND ONE OF THE LARGEST IN THE UNITED STATES, BSWH WAS BORN FROM THE 2013 COMBINATION OF BAYLOR HEALTH CARE SYSTEM AND SCOTT & WHITE HEALTHCARE. TODAY, BSWH HAS OVER 1,200 PATIENT ACCESS POINTS INCLUDING 51 HOSPITALS, 590 SPECIALTY CARE CLINICS, 254 OUTPATIENT CLINICS, 158 PRIMARY CARE CLINICS, 32 PHARMACIES, 30 AMBULATORY SURGERY CENTERS, AND MORE THAN 7,000 ACTIVE PHYSICIANS. THE SYSTEM ALSO INCLUDES A STATE CERTIFIED HEALTH MAINTENANCE ORGANIZATION, THE SCOTT AND WHITE HEALTH PLAN AND THE BAYLOR SCOTT & WHITE QUALITY ALLIANCE ACCOUNTABLE CARE ORGANIZATION BOTH COVERING OVER 1,000,000 LIVES. BSW COLLEGE STATION INCLUDES A CERTIFIED ADVANCED PRIMARY STROKE CENTER AND A CERTIFIED CHEST PAIN CENTER AS WELL AS A LEVEL III TRAUMA CENTER. IT ALSO HAS A LEVEL III NEONATAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT DESIGNATION EQUIPPED WITH NICVIEW VIDEO MONITORS. ADDITIONALLY, THE MEDICAL CENTER HAS ACHIEVED THE AMERICAN NURSES CREDENTIALING CENTER PATHWAY TO EXCELLENCE DESIGNATION. SERVICES INCLUDE AN EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT, COMPREHENSIVE CARDIAC SERVICES, GENERAL AND SPECIALTY SURGERY, CANCER CARE, IMAGING AND RADIOLOGY. DURING THE FISCAL YEAR, BSW COLLEGE STATION ADMITTED 8,747 PATIENTS RESULTING IN 36,937 DAYS OF CARE; DELIVERED 1,778 BABIES AND RECEIVED 37,535 EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT VISITS.
