COMMUNITY EDUCATION PARTNERSHIPS' MISSION IS TO SUPPORT THE EDUCATION OF HOMELESS AND HIGHLY MOBILE CHILDREN. WE PROVIDE ONE-ON-ONE AND GROUP TUTORING AND MENTORING, ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES, TARGETED LITERACY SUPPORT, AND BACKPACKS, BOOKS, AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES.

IN 2021, WE MORE THAN DOUBLED OUR GROUP PROGRAM HOURS THANKS TO OUR LEARNING HUBS IN RICHMOND AND OUR CHILDREN'S LEARNING CENTER IN OAKLAND. BY OFFERING PROGRAMMING FIVE DAYS PER WEEK FOR MULTIPLE HOURS EACH DAY, OUR HUBS AND LEARNING CENTER PROVIDE MORE CONSISTENCY, OVERSIGHT, AND ACADEMICALLY RIGOROUS SUPPORT THAN WE HAD PREVIOUSLY BEEN ABLE TO OFFER. OVERALL, 60 NEW STUDENTS GOT MATCHED WITH ONE-ON-ONE TUTORS, 220 STUDENTS RECEIVED TUTORING, AND CEP OFFERED 1,850 GROUP PROGRAM HOURS. IN ADDITION, CEP DISTRIBUTED MORE THAN 2,000 BOOKS, 250 MAKER KITS, 60 LADYBUG MENSTRUATION KITS, 35 HOTSPOTS WITH A YEAR OF INTERNET ACCESS, AND 100 FAMILIES RECEIVED UNRESTRICTED FINANCIAL AND/OR BASIC NEEDS SUPPORT.
