PRE KINDERGARTEN AND PUBLIC PROGRAMMING FOR TETON COUNTY RESIDENTS AND VISITORS: WITH OVER 5000 VISITS TO THE MUSEUM ANNUALLY, WE PROVIDE A PHYSICAL SPACE WITH INTERACTIVE EXHIBITS AND EXPERIENCES FOR CHILDREN AND THEIR CAREGIVERS TO PLAY AND LEARN. OUR PATRON PROGRAMS OFFER OPPORTUNITIES TO EXPLORE THROUGH CREATIVE AND TACTILE EXPERIENCES. PRESCHOOL PROGRAM PARTNERSHIPS SERVE UNDERSERVED POPULATIONS. THESE PROGRAMS ENCOURAGE SKILL DEVELOPMENT NECESSARY FOR KINDERGARTEN SUCCESS.


ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PROGRAMS:WE PARTNER WITH TETON COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT #1 TO OFFER INTEGRATED STEAM (SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, ART AND MATH) PROGRAMMING FOR ALL K5TH GRADE STUDENTS, APPROXIMATELY 1,500/YEAR. DESIGNED IN COLLABORATION WITH CLASSROOM TEACHERS, THESE EXPLORATORY PROGRAMS DIRECTLY SUPPORT THE CURRENT CURRICULAR UNITS IN THE CLASSROOM. WE COORDINATE PROGRAMS ACROSS SIX FRIDAYS A YEAR FOR 30% OF THE PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS WHILE TEACHERS ARE PARTICIPATING IN PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT.


AFTERSCHOOL AND SUMMER PROGRAMS: WE OFFER A VARIETY OF AFTERSCHOOL AND SUMMER PROGRAMMING FOR CHILDREN IN K5TH GRADE, DIRECTLY SUPPORTING THE GROWING COMMUNITY NEED FOR ENRICHING OUTOFSCHOOL PROGRAMMING. OUR THEMATIC PROGRAMS ENGAGE CHILDREN IN ASPECTS OF ARTS, SCIENCES, LITERATURE AND DESIGN AND ENCOURAGE CREATIVITY AND INDEPENDENT THINKING. WE SERVE APPROXIMATELY 200 WORKING FAMILIES THROUGH THESE OFFERINGS.
