PRE KINDERGARTEN AND PUBLIC PROGRAMMING FOR TETON COUNTY RESIDENTS AND VISITORS: WITH OVER 4000 VISITS TO THE MUSEUM ANNUALLY, WE PROVIDE A PHYSICAL SPACE WITH INTERACTIVE EXHIBITS AND PROVOCATIONS FOR CHILDREN AND THEIR CAREGIVERS TO PLAY AND LEARN. OUR PATRON PROGRAMS OFFER OPPORTUNITIES TO EXPLORE THROUGH CREATIVE AND TACTILE EXPERIENCES.PRESCHOOL PROGRAM PARTNERSHIPS FOR UNDERSERVED POPULATIONS ENCOURAGE SKILL DEVELOPMENT NECESSARY FOR KINDERGARTEN SUCCESS. WE UPGRADED TO A RESERVATION SYSTEM TO MINIMIZE VISITATIONS IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19 MITIGATION BEST PRACTICES.


ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PROGRAMS:WE PARTNER WITH TETON COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT #1 TO OFFER INTEGRATED STEAM (SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, ART AND MATH) PROGRAMMING FOR ALL K-5TH GRADE STUDENTS, APPROXIMATELY 1,500/YEAR. DESIGNED IN COLLABORATION WITH CLASSROOM TEACHERS, THESE EXPLORATORY PROGRAMS DIRECTLY SUPPORT THE CURRENT CURRICULAR UNITS IN THE CLASSROOM. WE VISITED CLASSROOMS INSTEAD OF HOSTING PROGRAMS DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS. SECONDARILY WE COORDINATE PROGRAMS ACROSS FIVE FRIDAYS A YEAR FOR 30% OF THE PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS WHILE TEACHERS ARE PARTICIPATING IN PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT.


AFTERSCHOOL AND SUMMER PROGRAMS: WE OFFER A VARIETY OF AFTERSCHOOL AND SUMMER PROGRAMMING FOR CHILDREN IN K-5TH GRADE, DIRECTLY SUPPORTING THE GROWING COMMUNITY NEED FOR ENRICHING OUT-OF-SCHOOL PROGRAMMING. OUR THEMATIC PROGRAMS ENGAGE CHILDREN IN ASPECTS OF ARTS, SCIENCES, LITERATURE AND DESIGN AND ENCOURAGE CREATIVITY AND INDEPENDENT THINKING. WE SERVE APPROXIMATELY 200 WORKING FAMILIES THROUGH THESE OFFERINGS.
