WE PARTNERED WITH THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH AND PALM BEACH COUNTY COMMUNITY SERVICES, USING THEIR FEDERAL EMERGENCY RENTAL ASSISTANCE DOLLARS, AND PROVIDED ASSISTANCE TO PALM BEACH COUNTY RESIDENTS TO COMPLETE APPLICATIONS AND RECEIVE RENTAL AND UTILITY ASSISTANCE. THROUGH THESE PARTNERSHIPS, WE ASSISTED 196 HOUSEHOLDS TO RECEIVE $815,000 IN EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE. THROUGH OUR CIRCLES PALM BEACH INITIATIVE WE HAD 70% OF THE FAMILIES WE SERVED TO INCREASE THEIR INCOME ABOVE 200% OF THE FEDERAL POVERTY LEVEL. CIRCLES WORKS WITH FAMILIES THAT ARE MOTIVATED TO TRANSITION FROM POVERTY TO SELF-SUFFICIENCY. WE PROVIDE AN 12-18 WEEK CURRICULUM FOCUSING ON BUDGETING, HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS, MASLOWS HIERARCHY OF NEEDS, ETC. ONCE FAMILIES COMPLETE TRAINING CLASSES THEY ARE MATCHED WITH A MIDDLE TO UPPER INCOME VOLENTEER THAT ASSIST THEM TO ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS. OUR BRIDGES PROGRAM IS FUNDED BY CHILDRENS SERVICES COUNCIL OF PALM BEACH COUNTY AND PROVIDES SUPPORT TO FAMILIES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN AROUND PARENTING AND EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT. BRIDGES FACILITATE COMMUNITY AND FAMILY ENGAGEMENT, STRENGTHEN AND BUILD COMMUNITY CAPACITY. OUR FOCUS IS ENSURING CHILDREN ENTER KINDERGARTEN READY TO LEARN, ARE FREE FROM ABUSE, ARE BORN HEALTHY AND THAT THEY THRIVE AND GROW HEALTHY, SAFE AND STRONG.THROUGH OUR HEALTHIER BOYNTON BEACH INITIATIVE WHICH IS FOCUSED ON PROVIDING SUPPORT TO FAMILY CAREGIVERS, WE INCREASED PARTICIPATION IN OUR CAREGIVERS CLUB AND PROVIDED 9 LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS WITH MINI-GRANTS WHICH TOTALED $30,000 TO ASSIST IN OUR EFFORTS OF SUPPORTING CAREGIVERS.THROUGH A PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CITY OF BOYNTON BEACH AND A LOCAL HEALTH CENTER, WE PROVIDED COVID-19 VACCINES TO 250 RESIDENTS AND HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS. WE GAVE $100 GIFT CARDS TO THOSE WHO RECEIVED THE VACCINE.
