THROUGH STORYTELLING, COLLABORATION, PLANNING, OUTREACH, AND PUBLIC INPUT, PRESERVE HICKORY, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CITY OF TRAVERSE CITY, LEVERAGED, RAISED, AND INVESTED OVER $4 MILLION FOR THE PARK'S INFRASTRUCTURE INCLUDING A NEW LODGE, NEW PARKING, EXPANDED SNOWMAKING OPERATIONS, NEW MULTI-PURPOSE TRAILS, NEW SKI SLOPES, AND A NEW LEARNER'S AREA. THE SHARED VISION OF PRESERVE HICKORY AND THE CITY IS TO TRANSFORM HICKORY HILLS BY REVITALIZING ITS INFRASTRUCTURE, EXPANDING RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES ACROSS ALL SEASONS, CREATING NEW REVENUE SOURCES FOR LONG-TERM SUSTAINABILITY, AND COLLABORATING WITH ADJOINING PARKS, NONPROFITS, AND USER GROUPS TO DEVELOP AND IMPROVE RECREATION AMENITIES.
