THE MARATHON FOUNDATION WAS ESTABLISHED TO SUPPORT AND SUSTAIN THE CITY OF MARATHON TEXAS AND SURROUNDING RANCH AREAS. THE FOUNDATION'S PRIMARY ACTIVITY IS TO PROVIDE GRANTS TO INSTITUTIONS WHICH HAVE AN IRS DESIGNATION OF 501(C)(3). AS OF 12/31/23 THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTED SIX (6) ORGANIZATIONS IN THE MARATHON TEXAS AREA.
THE MARATHON FOUNDATION WAS ESTABLISHED TO SUPPORT AND SUSTAIN THE CITY OF MARATHON TEXAS AND SURROUNDING RANCH AREAS. THE FOUNDATION'S SECONDARY ACTIVITY IS TO PROVIDE GRANTS IN THE FORM OF SCHOLARSHIPS TO GRADUATES OF THE MARATHON INDEPENDANT SCHOOL DISTRICT WHO DEMONSTRATE A FINANCIAL NEED AND WILL BE ENROLLED IN A FOUR YEAR COLLEGE.
