COMMUNITY YOUTH, CHILDREN, AND SPORTS OUTREACH. THIS PROGRAM OF REVIVAL SPORT (RS) REACHES OUT TO THE COMMUNITY BY USING SPORTS THAT TEACH POSITIVE LIFE VALUES. IT HARNESSES THE POWER OF SPORT TO BUILD RELATIONSHIP BRIDGES AND GROW HEALTHY, ACTIVE CHILDREN. IT HELPS CHILDREN LEARN IMPORTANT MESSAGES ABOUT LIFE, AND GIVES THEM OPPORTUNITIES TO DEVELOP COMPASSION AND COMMUNITY SPIRIT. ON A WEEKLY BASIS, OVER 450 PARTICIPANTS WERE TOUCHED THROUGH PROGRAMS SUCH AS "LEAGUE OF NATIONS", "KIDSCLUB", AND THE TUTORING PROGRAM. THE PROGRAMS ARE FOCUSED ON HOLISTIC DEVELOPMENT OF ALL THE PARTICIPANTS INCLUDING AN EMPHASIS ON THEIR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT BENEFITING THEM IN ALL ASPECTS OF LIFE. CUP OF NATIONS AND WORK AMONG REFUGEES IN THE USA - CUP OF NATIONS IS AN INTERNATIONAL SOCCER TOURNAMENT HELD FOR THE INTERNATIONAL AND REFUGEE COMMUNITY IN THE USA. FOLLOWING THE TOURNAMENT, THERE ARE WEEKLY SOCCER CLUBS AND DISCIPLE MAKING GROUPS. IN THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR, RS WAS ABLE TO HOST 4 CUP OF NATIONS IN TEXAS: THREE IN HOUSTON AND ONE IN AUSTIN. IN THE LAST 13 YEARS, 97 NATIONS HAVE PARTICIPATED IN THE TOURNAMENT. THERE ARE ALSO 27 CITIES IN THE USA AS WELL AS 45 COUNTRIES THAT HAVE HOSTED THE TOURNAMENT. DURING THESE YEARS, CUP OF NATIONS HAS IMPACTED AN ESTIMATED OVER 50,000 PEOPLE FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD.
DISCIPLE MAKING MOVEMENTS (DMM) IS A PROGRAM THAT TEACHES LOCAL IMMIGRANTS AND REFUGEES HOW TO EFFECTIVELY LEAD AND MULTIPLY DISCIPLE GROUPS (BIBLE STUDIES) THROUGH SPORT, PLAY AND FITNESS. DURING THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR, RS TRAINED OVER 900 PEOPLE THROUGH THEIR ONLINE PLATFORM AND AN ADDITIONAL 500 OUTSIDE OF HOUSTON. THE TRAINING FOCUSES ON HOW TO USE SPORT, PLAY, AND FITNESS TO BEGIN DISCIPLE GROUPS. IN THE PAST 5 YEARS, RS ESTIMATES THAT A MINIMUM OF 1,000 ADDITIONAL LEADERS HAVE BEEN TRAINED BY THE VERY PEOPLE WHO WENT THROUGH THE DMM PROGRAM TRAINING.
