HAVEN HOUSE OPENED TO WELCOME ITS FIRST RESIDENT ON MARCH 17, 2015. HAVEN HOUSE ALSO WELCOMED A WEEKLY WOMEN'S RECOVERY SUPPORT GROUP AT THE HOME FOR RESIDENTS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO GIVE AND RECEIVE SUPPORT. STAFF CONTINUED TO VISIT THE LOCAL PRISON TO HELP WOMEN, INCLUDING WOMEN WHO WILL NOT RESIDE AT HAVEN HOUSE, CONNECT WITH THE COMMUNITY RESOURCES THEY WILL NEED WHEN THEY ARE RELEASED. HAVEN HOUSE CONTINUED TO PROVIDE HOUSING AND SUPPORT FOR WOMEN RE-ENTERING THE COMMUNITY AFTER A PERIOD OF INCARCERATION DURING FY21, AS WELL AS OFFER SUPPORT TO OTHER COMMUNITY MEMBERS WHO ARE NOT RESIDENTS OF HAVEN HOUSE. HAVEN HOUSE HAS EXPANDED SERVICES TO RESIDENTS AND OTHER COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN NEED WITH THE PURCHASE OF A VAN THAT ALLOWED FOR ADDITIONAL SUPPORT TO HELP ACCESS EMPLOYMENT, MEDICAL, AND RECOVERY RELATED RESOURCES.
