THE WORKING FARM:IN 2022, SPACE RAN A FULL SEASON AND FULL APPLICATION CYCLE FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2019. SPACE HOSTED THE WORKING FARM, A THREE-WEEK LONG PLAYWRIGHT'S GROUP, THE FAMILY RESIDENCY, TWO TEN DAY RESIDENCIES FOR ARTIST PARENTS AND THEIR CHILDREN, BLKSPACE, TWO WEEK LONG RESIDENCIES FOR BLACK ARTISTS AND INNOVATORS WITH AN ENTIRELY BLACK IDENTIFYING RESIDENCY STAFF, THE GREENHOUSE RESIDENCY, A WEEKLONG RESIDENCY FOR PLAYWRIGHTS WORKING OUTSIDE TRADITIONAL INSTITUTIONAL FRAMEWORKS, AND THE CREATIVE RESIDENCY, FIVE WEEKLONG RESIDENCIES FOR MIXED GROUPS OF ARTISTS. EACH COHORT CONTAINED FIVE RESIDENTS AND ALL RESIDENCIES WERE FULLY SUBSIDIZED.
