MANCHESTER PUBLIC TELEVISION, INC. (MPTS), IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT COMMUNITY MEDIA CENTER PROVIDING TELEVISED COVERAGE OF MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT AND SCHOOL EVENTS TO INFORM AND EDUCATE THE VIEWERS. MPTS IS ALSO A PUBLIC FORUM FOR ALL MANCHESTER RESIDENTS, GROUPS AND ORGANIZATIONS, PROVIDING TRAINING AND ACCESS TO TELEVISION TECHNOLOGY SO THAT ALL MAY BECOME ACTIVE PARTICIPANTS IN LOCAL DIALOGUE VIA TELEVISED MEDIA. MPTS STRIVES TO INVOLVE THE DIVERSE POPULATION OF MANCHESTER AS PRODUCERS AND VIEWERS, AND TO STRENGTHEN ITS EFFORTS THROUGH COLLABORATIONS WITH A WIDE VARIETY OF COMMUNITY INSTITUTIONS.
