ONCOLOGY SERVICES ARE PROVIDED BY TWO SNCH PCS: SOUTH NASSAU ONCOLOGY PRACTICE, PC AND SOUTH NASSAU ONCOLOGY, PC, WHICH SPECIALIZE IN THE TREATMENT OF THE COMBINATION OF HEMATOLOGY AND ONCOLOGY DISORDERS. THE ONCOLOGY PRACTICE PCS EXPERIENCED 16,788 VISITS IN 2021.
RADIOLOGY SERVICES ARE PROVIDED BY TWO SNCH PCS: RADIOLOGICAL ASSOCIATES OF LONG ISLAND AND SN RADIOLOGICAL PRACTICE, PC, WHICH PROVIDE A FULL RANGE OF IMAGING SERVICES ON AN OUTPATIENT BASIS TO THE SOUTH SHORE COMMUNITIES OF NASSAU COUNTY. THE RADIOLOGY PCS EXPERIENCED 16,107 VISITS, IN 2021.
THE COLON AND RECTAL SURGICAL SPECIALISTS OF NEW YORK SPECIALIZE IN DISEASES OF THE COLON AND RECTUM. THE COLORECTAL PRACTICE REPORTED 673 VISITS IN 2021.

THESE PRACTICES STAFF INCLUDE FULL-TIME, BOARD-CERTIFIED FAMILY PHYSICIANS; YOU CAN SEE THE SAME DOCTOR EVERY TIME YOU VISIT. THIS PC EXPERIENCED 2,907 VISITS IN 2021.SOUTH NASSAU NEONATAL SERVICES PC'S PHYSICIANS PROVIDE MEDICAL CARE FOR NEWBORN INFANTS, ESPECIALLY ILL OR PREMATURE NEWBORNS. THIS PC EXPERIENCED 130 VISITS IN 2021.SN SERVICES, INC. AND 203 MERRICK ROAD OWN VARIOUS PROPERTIES THAT ARE USED BY THE SOUTH NASSAU COMMUNITIES HOSPITAL AND AFFILIATED ORGANIZATIONS TO SUPPORT THE MISSION OF THE HOSPITAL.ALL SNCH PCS ARE CONTROLLED AND OPERATED BY SOUTH NASSAU COMMUNITIES HOSPITAL.THE HOSPITAL IS SELF-INSURED FOR LOSSES, WHICH MAY ARISE FROM CLAIMS FILED AGAINST IT. PROFESSIONAL AND GENERAL LIABILITY CLAIMS HAVE BEEN ASSERTED AGAINST THE HOSPITAL BY VARIOUS CLAIMANTS. THE CLAIMS ARE IN VARIOUS STAGES OF PROCESSING AND SOME MAY ULTIMATELY BE BROUGHT TO TRIAL. COUNSEL IS UNABLE TO CONCLUDE AS TO THE ULTIMATE OUTCOME OF THE ACTIONS.
