THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES A YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR DETROIT PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS AFTER SCHOOL, ON WEEKENDS, AND DURING THE SUMMER. THIS PROGRAM AIMS TO PROMOTE DETROIT PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS' PHYSICAL FITNESS, READING AND WRITING ABILITIES, SELF-ESTEEM, STRENGTH OF CHARACTER, AND EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT. OVERALL, THERE ARE SEVEN MAIN PROGRAM COMPONENTS, INCLUDING SQUASH INSTRUCTION AND COMPETITION, FITNESS DEVELOPMENT, ACADEMIC TUTORING, LITERACY DEVELOPMENT, COMMUNITY SERVICE, SUMMER OPPORTUNITIES, AND MENTORING.
