THE AONL FOUNDATION SUPPORTS ITS MISSION BY PROVIDING FUNDING FOR NURSING LEADERSHIP AND ADMINISTRATION RESEARCH THROUGH GRANTS TO BOTH CREATE NEW KNOWLEDGE AND BUILD UPON EXISTING KNOWLEDGE. THE AONL FOUNDATION HOSTS THE ANNUAL RESEARCH-FOCUSED PLENARY SESSION AT THE AONL ANNUAL CONFERENCE, AND HONORS A NURSE RESEARCHER WITH THE RESEARCHER OF THE YEAR AWARD. IN ADDITION, THE AONL FOUNDATION AWARDS FINANCIAL AID TO NURSE LEADERS FROM SMALL, RURAL OR CRITICAL ACCESS ORGANIZATIONS TO PARTICIPATE IN CONTINUING EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES.
