OUR COLLECTION INCLUDES OVER 5,000 CULTURAL ARTIFACTS THAT HELP TELL THE STORIES THAT SHAPE THE COMMUNITY'S IDENTITY. TO FULFILL OUR MISSION, WE MAINTAIN A BUILDING THAT PROVIDES A PERMANENT AND SUSTAINABLE LOCATION FOR THE STORAGE OF ARTIFACTS AND EXHIBITS TO BE USED FOR HISTORICAL AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS THAT INVITE STUDENTS, LOCALS, AND VISITORS TO LEARN ABOUT ST JOHNSBURY'S HISTORY.
CONDUCT EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS WITH A MISSION TO PRESERVE ST JOHNSBURY'S RICH HISTORY, HIGHLIGHT THE LEGACY OF THOSE WHO HAVE GONE BEFORE AND SHOW HOW OUR PAST HAS SHAPED OUR PRESENT; THROUGH THE ANNUAL GHOST WALK THE ST JOHNSBURY'S HISTORY AND HERITAGE CENTER IS ABLE TO SHOWCASE THE HISTORY AND STORIES OF LOCAL PEOPLE AND BUSINESS' OF ST JOHNSBURY.
