THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED THE OPPORTUNITY FOR THE PUBLIC TO TAKE CLASSES IN BOATING AND TO COMPETE IN BOATING EVENTS. THROUGH ITS PROGRAMS, LPBCCO IS COMMITTED TO PROMOTING THE AMATEUR SPORTS OF ROWING, PADDLING, AND OTHER WATER SPORTS THROUGHOUT CHICAGO, ENSURING THAT THEY ARE ACCESSIBLE TO INDIVIDUALS OF ALL FINANCIAL AND PHYSICAL ABILITIES. LPBCCO HAS WORKED TO BECOME A COMMUNITY LEADER IN PROVIDING ACCESS WITHOUT BARRIERS TO THESE WATER SPORTS IN ORDER TO CULTIVATE CONFIDENCE AND DISCIPLINE IN THE CHILDREN AND ADULTS WHO WISH TO PARTICIPATE.
