ATHLETE AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT - THE CONTINUING COVID-19 PANDEMIC PREVENTED IN-PERSON QUIDDITCH, AND THE STAFF USED THE TIME TO FOCUS ON YOUTH PROGRAMS, STRATEGIC MARKETING PLANNING, AND EQUITY, DIVERSITY, AND INCLUSION INITIATIVES.
EVENTS - DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, THERE WERE NO IN-PERSON TOURNAMENTS HOSTED BY USQ DURING FY21. HOWEVER, STAFF USED THE TIME TO WORK ON EVENT BIDDING FOR FUTURE SEASONS, GAMEPLAY PROCEDURES, AND EDUCATION AND TRAINING.
MEMBERSHIP - THE MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM PROVIDES MEMBERSHIPS TO TEAMS AND INDIVIDUALS THAT ALLOW THEM TO COMPETE IN SANCTIONED EVENTS, RECEIVE ACCIDENTAL INSURANCE COVERAGE WHILE PLAYING, BECOME ELIGIBLE FOR GRANTS, ACCESS PLAYER RESOURCES AND TRAINING, JOIN A BROAD PLAYER COMMUNITY, AND HAVE A VOICE IN THE FUTURE OF THE SPORT THROUGH OPINION POLLS AND SURVEYS.
