THE LANE COUNTY DEFENSE CONSORTIUM IS A STATE CONTRACTED PROVIDER OF LEGAL REPRESENTATION FOR INDIGENT DEFENDANTS IN LANE COUNTY, OREGON. THE CONSORTIUM PROVIDES REPRESENTATION IN A VARIETY OF OFFENSES RANGING FROM MISDEMEANOR CHARGES TO FELONIES.

THE ORGANIZATION HAD ONE PROGRAM SERVICE; TO FACILITATE THE ASSIGNMENT OF AND MONITOR THE PERFORMANCE OF LEGAL COUNSEL TO REPRESENT INDIGENT DEFENDANTS IN LANE COUNTY, OREGON. THE EXEMPT PURPOSE ACHIEVEMENTS INCLUDE CONTRACTING WITH THE STATE OF OREGON TO PROVIDE OVERSIGHT AND MONITORING OF ATTORNEYS PROVIDING COURT APPOINTED COUNSEL TO INDIGENT PERSONS.
