IN AN EFFORT TO IMPROVE HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION RATES AND COLLEGE WORK PREPAREDNESS, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES VARIOUS SUPPORT SERVICES AS FOLLOWS:SCHOOL IS COOL BENEFITS AT LEAST 2,300 STUDENTSTHIS BACK TO SCHOOL EVENT OFFERS SMITH COUNTY FAMILIES AN OPPORTUNITY TO PREPARE FOR THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR. PRE-KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 12TH GRADE STUDENTS THAT ATTEND THE EVENT ARE GIVEN A BACKPACK WITH SUPPLIES.SMITH COUNTY COLLEGE FAIR BENEFITS AT LEAST 700 STUDENTSSMITH COUNTY STUDENTS AND PARENTS ARE ABLE TO VISIT WITH MORE THAN 60 COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY RECRUITERS FROM ACROSS THE NATION. STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THEIR ACADEMIC OPTIONS.
