GRATEFUL HEARTS MINISTRIES IS A CHRIST-FOCUSED ORGANIZATION THAT ASSISTS WOMEN IN THEIR TRANSITION THROUGH THE COURT SYSTEM TO RECOVERY, RESTORATION OF FAMILIES, AND PRODUCTIVE LIVING IN THE COMMUNITY. OUR VISION IS FOR THE LIVES OF WOMEN TO BE TRANSFORMED FROM THE CYCLE OF ADDICTION, HOMELESSNESS, AND INCARCERATION TO LIVES OF PURPOSE AND SPIRITUAL WHOLENESS. THESE WOMEN LACK THE RESOURCES NECESSARY TO GAIN ACCESS TO REHABILITATION FACILITIES AND PROGRAMS. ASSISTANCE GIVEN TO WOMEN INCLUDES COUNSELING, FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, TRANSPORTATION, CLOTHING, AND HELP IN OBTAINING COPIES OF VARIOUS FORMS OF IDENTIFICATION SUCH AS BIRTH AND MARRIAGE RECORDS. THE AVERAGE RECIPIENT RECEIVES A FEW HUNDRED DOLLARS.
