USING HORSES TO HELP CHILDREN AND FAMILIES WITH TRAUMA HEAL FOR OVER A DECADE. OUR COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM HELPS CHILDREN IMPACTED BY PARENTAL ADDICTION. THROUGH PEER SUPPORT GROUPS, WORKING WITH HORSES, AND AN EVIDENCE-BASED CURRICULUM, HORSES HEALING HEARTS PROVIDES PARTICIPANTS WITH HOPE, COMMUNITY AND EMPOWERMENT, TO FOSTER A BRIGHTER, DRUG-FREE FUTURE. WE ALSO WORK WITH ADULTS AND YOUTH WITH EQUINE-ASSISTED PSYCHOTHERAPY (EAP). EAP ADDRESSES A VARIETY OF MENTAL HEALTH AND HUMAN DEVELOPMENT NEEDS INCLUDING BEHAVIORAL ISSUES, ATTENTION DEFICIT DISORDER, PTSD, SUBSTANCE ABUSE EATING DISORDERS, DEPRESSION, ANXIETY RELATIONSHIP PROBLEMS AND COMMUNICATION NEEDS.
