SMILES CHARITY MAIN FUNDRASING EVENT, BOOTS AND BLING, IS A LIMITED ATTENDED OUTDOOR EVENT HOSTED ON THE SUNDAY BEFORE MEMORIAL DAY. GENEROUS LOCAL AND CORPORATE BUSINESSES SPONSOR THE EVENT. BOOTS AND BLING BEGINS WITH A MEMORIAL DAY CELEBRATION INCLUDING A COLOR GUARD PRESENTATION OF THE US FLAG, THE SINGING OF OUR NATIONAL ANTHEM AND A MISSING MAN FLYOVER BY WWII PLANES. GUESTS ARE ABLE TO BID ON NUMEROUS DONATED ITEMS VIA THE LIVE AND SILENT AUCTIONS, PLAY GAMES, PURCHASE TICKETS TO WIN PRICES, AS WELL AS DONATE TO THE CHARITY. THE EVENING CONCLUDES WITH AN INTIMATE CONCERT PROVIDED BY A TOP-NOTCH PERFORMER. SO FAR, SMILES CHARITY HAS PROVIDED 20 MORTGAGE-FREE HOMES TO DESERVING FAMILIES.
