WARM-WEATHER ADAPTIVE SPORTS AND RECREATION - ADAPTIVE SPORTS PARTNERS OF THE NORTH COUNTRY (ASPNC) PROVIDED 1745 OUTDOOR SPORTS AND RECREATION SERVICE SESSIONS FOR PERSONS WITH PHYSICAL AND/OR INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES DURING THE WARM-WEATHER MONTHS. THE MOST REQUESTED SPORTS AND RECREATION ACTIVITIES WERE BIKING, HIKING, GOLF SWIMMING AND KAYAKING. THE MAJORITY OF ADAPTIVE PARTICIPANTS CAME FROM NORTH COUNTRY TOWNS IN NEW HAMPSHIRE AND THE NORTHEAST KINGDOM OF VERMONT.


COLD-WEATHER SPORTS AND RECREATION - ADAPTIVE SPORTS PARTNERS OF THE NORTH COUNTRY (ASPNC) PROVIDED 1200 OUTDOOR SERVICE SESSIONS FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES DURING THE COLD-WEATHER MONTHS OF OCTOBER 2021 - MARCH 2022. ACTIVITIES INCLUDED ALPINE AND NORDIC SKIING, SNOWBOARDING, SNOWSHOEING AND WINTER HIKING. MOST OF THE ADAPTIVE PARTICIPANTS WERE THE SAME AS THOSE IN WARM-WEATHER SERVICES.


INDOOR ADAPTIVE SPORTS AND RECREATION - ADAPTIVE SPORTS PARTNERS OF THE NORTH COUNTRY (ASPNC) PROVIDED 500 INDOOR SERVICE SESSIONS FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES. ACTIVITIES INCLUDED INDOOR ROCK CLIMBING, SWIMMING, BOCCE, AND BOWLING.
