THE ZOOLOGY FOUNDATION AT CROOKED WILLOW FARMS IS ORGANIZED TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHILDREN AND TO ENCOURAGE AND MOTIVATE CHILDREN TO EXPLORE THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT THROUGH OUTDOOR RECREATION AND OTHER ACTIVITIES THEREBY ENHANCING THEIR AWARENESS OF NATURAL HABITATS FOR WILDLIFE, FISH, PLANTS AND RIPARIAN ECOSYSTEMS.

GRANTS TO SUPPORT KIDS LEARNING TO PROPERLY CARE FOR ANIMALS THROUGH LOCAL COMMUNITY AND YOUTH EDUCATION ORGANIZATIONS AS WELL AS GRANTS TO SUPPORT RESCUE OF ANIMALS TO ENHANCE THE PROGRAM. GROUPS OF KIDS, THE ELDERLY AND ANIMAL RELATED ORGANIZATIONS AND TEACHER'S VISIT THE ANIMALS AT THE FOUNDATION. THE EXPENSES INDICATED WHERE RELATED TO FEEDING AND CARING FOR THE ANIMALS OWNED BY THE FOUNDATION. GRANTS WERE GIVEN TO 4-H, FFA, AND CALF TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION AND RESCUE OF ANIMALS.
