PART I, LINE 1 AND PART III, LINE 1 (CONTINUED)- FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE KOSCIUSKO COUNTY REGION, WE SEEK TO SUPPORT THE LONG-TERM SUSTAINABILITY AND GROWTH OF WARSAW'S ORTHOPEDIC COMMUNITY THROUGH CHARITABLE, EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITIES FOCUSED ON: TALENT DEVELOPMENT, TALENT ATTRACTION AND INNOVATION/ENTREPRENEURSHIP.

TALENT DEVELOPMENT - OCF HAS SUPPORTED A TALENT DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE AS AN ELEMENT OF ITS OVERALL STRATEGY FOR CAREER AWARENESS. A MAJOR INITIATIVE UNDER THIS STRATEGY WAS SUPPORT FOR DEVELOPMENT OF CURRICULUM, LOGISTICS AND SUPPORTING MATERIALS FOR AN EVENT FOR HIGH SCHOOL SOPHOMORES ON NATIONAL MANUFACTURING DAY. ANOTHER INITIATIVE WAS A SERIES OF EVENTS AND TOURS FOR ALL EIGHTH GRADERS IN KOSCIUSKO COUNTY. THIS PROGRAM INCLUDED IN-CLASS CONTENT AND VIRTUAL TOURS OF VARIOUS TRAINING AND INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES IN KOSCIUSKO COUNTY.


TALENT ATTRACTION - OCF CONTINUES TO SUPPORT A VARIETY OF EFFORTS RELATED TO DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION AND QUALITY OF PLACE IN NORTHEASTERN INDIANA THROUGH INITIATIVES SUCH AS A LOCAL DIVERSITY COUNCIL; CITY OF WARSAW FIRST FRIDAY EVENTS; THE "CELEBRATING US" DIVERSITY FESTIVAL; THE COMMITTEE TO COMMEMORATE MARTIN LUTHER KING; AND VARIOUS REGIONAL QUALITY OF PLACE INITIATIVES.


INNOVATION AND RESEARCH - IN FURTHERANCE OF ITS CHARITABLE, EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC PURPOSES, OCF CONTINUES TO SUPPORT THE FACILITATION OF CONNECTIONS AND RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN AND AMONG UNIVERSITIES, ENTREPRENEURS AND ESTABLISHED INDUSTRY FOR THE PURPOSE OF CREATING A MORE VIBRANT ATMOSPHERE FOR INNOVATION IN INDIANA.
