PROVIDE FREE TRANSPORTATION AND HOUSING FOR IMMIGRANTS RECENTLY RELEASED FROM THE NORTHWEST ICE PROCESSING CENTER IN TACOMA, WASHINGTON. IN 2022 178 RELEASED DETAINEES WERE PROVIDED HOUSING FOR 534 NIGHTS. VOLUNTEER DRIVERS TRANSPORTED 1,628 RELEASED DETAINEES TO THE AIRPORT, TRAIN OR BUS STATION.
CORRESPOND AND PROVIDE SUPPLIES TO IMMIGRANTS DETAINED AT THE ICE PROCESSING CENTER IN TACOMA, WA. THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES AN RV PARKED OUTSIDE OF THE DETENTION CENTER TO GREET RELEASED DETAINEES AND PROVIDE THEM WITH CLOTHING, SNACKS, HYGINE KITS, BACKPACKS, PHONE ACCESS AND TRAVEL PLANNING. IN 2022 1,728 SUCH RELEASED DETAINEES WERE SERVICED THROUGH THIS PROGRAM.
