PROVIDING VISION SCREENINGS, EYE EXAMS, EYEGLASSES, AND CATARACT SURGERIES TO POVERTY STRICKEN PEOPLE IN THE UPSTATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA. CARE PROVIDED FOR 2023 WAS AS FOLLOWS: 913 EYE EXAMS; 819 EYEGLASSES/READERS; 1400 PEOPLE SCREENED; AND 177 CATARACT SURGERIES.
PROVIDING EYE EXAMS, VISION SCREENINGS, EYEGLASSES AND CATARACT SURGERIES IN THIRD WORLD POVERTY STRICKEN LOCATIONS. IN 2023 TRIPS WERE TAKEN TO EL SALVADOR AND KENYA (2 TRIPS). 2062 SCREENINGS AND 1,663 EXAMS WERE COMPLETED.
PROVIDING EYEGLASS DISPENSE TRAINING TO MISSION GROUPS ALONG WITH SUPPLYING EYEGLASSES/READERS. OVER 700 READERS/GLASSES WERE PROVIDED DURING A TRIP TO CUBA.
