THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO INSPIRE APPRECIATION AND CELEBRATE THE CULTURES AND ECOLOGY OF THE VAST FINGER LAKES REGION.

THE MUSEUM COMPLETED INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR ARCHITECTURAL RENDERINGS FOR THE MUSEUM'S MAIN BUILDING/ EXHIBIT HALL. THE MUSEUM ALSO INCURRED COSTS FOR INTERIOR EXHIBIT DESIGN WORK DURING THE YEAR. THE COSTS INCLUDE THE DEPRECIATION OF THE MUSUEM'S ASSETS.


THE ORGANIZATION MAINTAINS A STRONG PRESENCE IN THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITY AND RECEIVED SIGNIFICANT SUPPORT THROUGH VOLUNTEER TIME FROM AREA RESIDENTS AND THE TRUSTEES OF THE MUSEUM.THE MUSEUM STAFF OVERSEES THE PROGRAMMING AND OPERATIONS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. THE COSTS INCLUDED TO MAINTAIN PROGRAMS AND DAY TO DAY OPERATIONS INCLUDE THE IN-KIND TIME DONATION AND EXPENSE AS WELL AS STAFF PAYROLL.


THE ORGANIZATION INSTALLED DECKING SURROUNDING ITS CREEKSIDE CENTER - ITS KAYAK AND CANOE LIVERY. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PURCHASED A FLEET OF YOUTH KAYAKS FOR ITS GUIDED PADDLING TOURS AND INSTRUCTION. THE ORGANIZATION'S CREEKSIDE CENTER IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC THROUGHOUT THE SPRING, SUMMER, AND FALL MONTHS FOR A MULTITUDE OF SCHEDULED PROGRAMS FOR THE PUBLIC TO ENJOY. ITS 16 ACRE WETLAND WILDLIFE PRESERVE IS ALSO OPEN FOR PUBLIC ACCESS AND GUIDED WALKS 365 DAYS A YEAR. THE ORGANIZATION'S PROGRAMS INCLUDE: EVENING YOGA SERIES, MUSICAL PERFORMANCES, PUBLIC AND PRIVATE PADDLING PROGRAMS (SUNSET PADDLES, PADDLING LESSONS, PADDLING INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION CLASSES, YOUTH TRAINING CLASSES, PRIVATE PADDLES FOR FAMILIES OR SCHOOL GROUPS) AND COMMUNITY AND PRIVATE EVENTS ACCOMODATING ALL AGE GROUPS. OVER 500 INDIVIDUALS ATTENDED 39 PROGRAMS AND EVENTS THAT HAPPENED THROUGHOUT THE 2021 SEASON.
