PROGRAM SERVICES THIS COVERS ALL EXPENSES RELATED TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SECURE ELECTRONIC NETWORK CALLED A HEALTH INFORMATION EXCHANGE (HIE). MEDICAL PROVIDERS SHARE IMPORTANT MEDICAL INFORMATION ON THEIR PATIENTS VIA THIS NETWORK. THIS IS DESIGNED TO IMPROVE EFFICIENCY AN EFFECTIVENESS OF HEALTH CARE IN ALASKA.
