CONSULTING EDUCATION THE CONSULTING EDUCATION PROGRAM PROVIDES CONSULTING TO ORGANIZATIONS TO ASSIST IN DEVELOPMENT OF A PIPELINE OF STUDENTS INTO HIGHER EDUCATION FOR MANUFACTURING TRADES.
MACHINE TRAININGIN CONJUNCTION WITH THE SAN BERARDINO COUNTY SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS REGIONAL OCCUPATION PROGRAM, TECHNICAL EMPLOYMENT TRAINING, INC PROVIDES TRAINING IN THE MANUFACTURING OF HIGH TECHNOLOGY PRODUCTS. THE SCHOOL'S 630-HOUR PROGRAM HAS HAD 16 STUDENTS COMPLETE THE PROGRAM IN 2021. THE SCHOOL'S STAFF ALSO ASSISTS EMPLOYERS IN ACQUIRING SKILLED EMPLOYEES. THE CURRICULUM INCLUDES BASIC MATH, BASIC BLUEPRINT READING, METROLOGY AND INSPECTION, BASIC MACHINE OPERATION, COMPUTER-AIDED MANUFACTURING, AND ENTRY-LEVEL COMPUTERIZED NUMERICAL CONTROLLED OPERATIONS. IT ALSO INCLUDES 90 HOURS OF BASIC WORKPLACE SKILLS TRAINING.
MANUFACTURING WORK THE MANUFACTURING PROGRAM PROVIDES STUDENTS WITH AN IDEAL ENVIRONMENT TO PREPARE THEM FOR THE REAL-WORLD WORKPLACE. THE ORGANIZATION CONTRACTS WITH LOCAL BUSINESSES TO PROVIDE MANUFACTURED PRODUCTS. STUDENTS RECEIVE SUPERVISED ON-THE-JOB TRAINING IN THE MANUFACTURING OF FINISHED GOODS. STUDENTS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE BASED ON THE PARTICULAR NEEDS OF THE CUSTOMER.
