HSKC WAS FORMED FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING HEART AND VASCULAR SURGERY TO PATIENTS. HEART SURGEONS OF KANSAS CITY, INC. (HSKC), SERVES AS AN EXTENSION OF SAINT LUKE'S HOSPITAL OF KANSAS CITY. HSKC AND SAINT LUKE'S HOSPITAL OF KANSAS CITY ARE BOTH INTEGRAL PARTS OF A LARGE HEALTHCARE SYSTEM SERVING THE GREATER KANSAS CITY AREA, OF WHICH SAINT LUKE'S HEALTH SYSTEM, INC. SERVES AS THE PARENT ORGANIZATION. HSKC TRANSPLANT VOLUMES IN THE PAST DECADE RANK AMONG THE TOP 15 HEART TRANSPLANT PROGRAMS IN THE NATION AND OUR OUTCOMES CONSISTENTLY SURPASS NATIONAL BENCHMARKS.
