SCHOLARSHIP EXCELLENCE WAS CREATED TO CHANGE THE TRAJECTORY OF STUDENTS' LIVES THROUGH EDUCATION SUCCESS. STUDENTS IN THE SCHOLARSHIP EXCELLENCE ENGAGE IN COLLEGE PREPARATORY COHORTS, FINANCIAL AID/SCHOLARSHIP WORKSHOPS AND COLLEGE TOURS IN AND OUT OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
BLACK GIRLS UNITED- TO UPLIFT, EMPOWER, AND INSPIRE YOUNG WOMEN OF COLOR THROUGH EXPLORATION, DEVELOPMENT, MODERNIZATION, AND SOCIAL CHANGE IN THEIR COMMUNITIES WHILE HONORING THE WORK DONE BEFORE THEM.
STUDENT-ATHLETE- THE PROGRAM HELPS STUDENTS TO UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF CONTINUED EDUCATION AND FOCUSES ON HELPING STUDENTS LEARN WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A COLLEGE ATHLETE AND THE DEDICATION THAT IS NEEDED TO OBTAIN THEIR GOALS. THROUGH EDUCATION, COMPETITION AND A PERSONAL ENVIRONMENT, THE PROGRAM STIMULATE ATTITUDES OF PASSION, SPORTSMANSHIP, INTEGRITY, LEADERSHIP, RESOURCEFULNESS, AND SERVICE TO COMMUNITY.
