AT OUR RETREAT CENTER (WONDERWELL) AND/OR ONLINE WE OFFERED TRAINING IN TIBETAN BUDDHISM THROUGH 1) BUDDHIST MEDITATION RETREATS THAT RANGED FROM ONE WEEKEND TO ONE WEEK, 2) WEEKLY MEETINGS OF MEDITATION, PRACTICE, AND BUDDHIST STUDY, 3) "DHARMA SUNDAY" - A MONTHLY ALL DAY PROGRAM OF MEDITATION, PRACTICE, AND BUDDHIST STUDY, AND MULTIPLE COURSES ON DIFFERENT BUDDHIST TOPICS. THESE WERE ALL OVERSEEN BY "LAMAS" (TEACHERS/MINISTERS) TRAINED IN THE TIBETAN BUDDHIST TRADITION. WE ALSO OFFERED INDIVIDUAL "SOLO" RETREATS AT WONDERWELL.
IN CAMBRIDGE MA WE PAY FOR THE USE OF A LOCAL CHURCH BUILDING FOR A WEEKLY MEETING OF MEDITATION, PRACTICE, AND BUDDHIST STUDY. NOTE THIS HAS BEEN MOVED FROM ONSITE TO ONLINE BECAUSE OF THE PANDEMIC
WE OFFERED THE MARGHA PROGRAM - A FORMAL, MULTI-YEAR INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAM IN BUDDHIST MEDITATION WITH OVER 100 STUDENTS. IT IS TAUGHT BY LAMA WILLA BAKER, LAMA ELIZABETH MONSON, AND MANY EXPERIENCED BUDDHIST PRACTITIONER VOLUNTEERS. THESE MEETINGS CAN BE IN PERSON OR ONLINE.
