THE ORGANIZATION ALSO CONSULTS WITH CHURCHES, COMMUNITIES, AND OTHER FAITH-BASED ORGANIZATIONS ABOUT THE NEEDS OF SINGLE MOMS AND WAYS THEY CAN AID SINGLE MOMS AND THEIR FAMILIES.

MENTORSHIP 360 - BEGINS WITH A PERSONAL STORY BASED APPROACH, LOOKING AT LIFELONG PATTERNS, PERSONAL STRENGTHS AND AREAS THAT HAVE PREVENTED A WOMAN FROM MOVING FORWARD TO HEALTHY INDEPENDENCE. TOPICS RANGE FROM SETTING PERSONAL BOUNDARIES, FINANCES, PARENTING, CREATING PERSONAL GROWTH GOALS, VOCATIONAL EXPLORATION AND CO-PARENTING ISSUES. DURING THEIR TIME WITH A MENTOR, A SINGLE MOM WILL BUILD A DEEPER RELATIONSHIP ONE ON ONE, LEARNING TO ADVOCATE FOR HER AND HER FAMILY, AND BEGIN TO MOVE FORWARD IN AREAS THAT SHE HAS BEEN UNABLE TO BEFORE. FINANCIAL ASSESSMENTS ARE TAKEN AS PART OF THE MENTORSHIP PROGRAM. WHEN THERE IS A CRITICAL FINANCIAL NEED PRESENT, A FINANCIAL ASSIST IS GIVEN TO HELP THE FAMILY KEEP MOVING FORWARD. WOMEN WHO HAVE MENTORED WITH SINGLE MOMM IN THE PAST HAVE GONE ON TO SUCCESSFULLY OBTAIN LONG TERM EMPLOYMENT, ENTERED INTO A VOCATIONAL OR COLLEGIATE PROGRAM, REGAINED CUSTODY OF THEIR CHILDREN AND HAVE BEGUN WORKING TOWARD FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE. 954 FAMILIES WERE SERVED THROUGH MENTORSHIP 360 DURING THE 2021-2022 FISCAL YEAR.
THE REVIVE COURSE: THE REVIVE COURSE IS A THIRTEEN WEEK INTENSIVE SMALL GROUP EXPERIENCE THAT HELPS A WOMAN IDENTIFY HER THINKING STYLE, PASSIONS, AND STRENGTHS. IT INCREASES EMOTIONAL IQ, SELF-CONFIDENCE, AND THE ABILITY TO ADVOCATE FOR THE NEEDS OF ONE'S FAMILY. TOPICS COVERED ALSO INCLUDE,PERSONAL BOUNDARIES, FORGIVENESS, BUILDING HEALTHY PERSONAL COMMUNITY, RELATIONSHIP HEALTH, TIME MANAGEMENT, PARENTING, AND FINANCES. WOMEN GRADUATING BECOME HOMEOWNERS FOR THE FIRST TIME, STEP OFF OF ASSISTANCE, GO BACK TO OR START COLLEGE, AND REACH HEALTHY INDEPENDENCE. 36 FAMILIES PARTICIPATED IN THE REVIVE COURSE DURING THE 2021-2022 FISCAL YEAR.
EVENT NIGHT: EVENT NIGHTS ARE MONTHLY GATHERINGS THAT PROVIDE MEALS FOR BOTH SINGLE MOMS AND THEIR CHILDREN. WOMEN TAKE PART IN A SHARED MEAL AND ENGAGE WITH A SPEAKER OR GUIDED ACTIVITY. TOPICS COVERED ARE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, PARENTING, HOUSEHOLD MAINTENANCE, PHYSICAL HEALTH, EMOTIONAL HEALTH, SPIRITUAL HEALTH, HOW TO BUILD HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS, AND THE IMPORTANCE OF DOING LIFE WITHIN COMMUNITY. CHILDREN TAKE PART IN A SHARED MEAL, CLASSES BASED ON AGE GROUPS AND ARE POURED INTO BY COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS. WOMEN ATTENDING THESE EVENTS BUILD A TRUST BASE WITH SINGLE MOMM AND THEN ENTER INTO MENTORSHIP, CLASSES, AND OTHER SERVICES OFFERED. EVENT NIGHTS INCREASE A POSITIVE FAMILY CULTURE AND DIRECT MOM TO CHILD BONDING. 353 WOMEN AND 667 CHILDREN WERE SERVED DURING THE 2021-2022 FISCAL YEAR.
