THE OHIO ALLIANCE OF YMCAS IS A NONPROFIT ASSOCIATION THAT REPRESENTS THE 162 YMCAS THROUGHOUT OHIO. WE ARE A GRASSROOTS DRIVEN AND GOVERNED ORGANIZATION THAT ADVOCATES AND EDUCATES ON BEHALF OF THE YMCAS AND ITS MISSION.

EACH YEAR, THE ALLIANCE ADVOCATES ON BEHALF OF THE 162 YMCAS IN OHIO, COVERING MANY DIVERSE COMMUNITIES IN THE STATE. THE BENEFICIARIES INCLUDE OVER 1.5 MILLION OHIO FAMILIES, MEN, AND WOMEN. IN 2021, THE ALLIANCE CONCENTRATED EFFORTS ON FOUR PRIORITIES: (A) LEGISLATIVE ADVOCACY FOR EARLY LEARNING AND SCHOOL AGE CARE AND SALES TAX REPEAL, (B) BENCHMARKS FOR OHIO YMCAS, (C) STATEWIDE MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS, AND (D) COLLABORATION WITH OTHER OHIO STATEWIDE ORGANIZATIONS AND YMCA ALLIANCES IN NEIGHBORING STATES.
