NYCLASS EXISTS TO INFORM BUSINESS LEADERS, POLICY MAKERS, AND MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY ABOUT ALTERNATIVE TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS, TRAFFIC SAFETY, AND SANITATION SOLUTIONS THAT WILL IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR RESIDENTS OF NEW YORK CITY.


PREVIOUSLY, DONATIONS AND GRANTS WERE RECEIVED FOR THE SPECIFIC PURPOSE OF THE DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT AND PRODUCTION OF AN ELECTRIC CAR PROTOTYPE FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF CARRIAGE HORSES. DURING 2014, THE ELECTRIC CAR WAS COMPLETED. IT WAS SHOWCASED AT THE 2014 AUTO SHOW IN NEW YORK CITY AND IS NOW ON THE STREETS OF NEW YORK GIVING COMPLIMENTARY RIDES TO TOURISTS AND RESIDENTS.DURING 2015, THE ELECTRIC CAR WAS SHOWN IN PARADES AND TRADE SHOWS. IT WAS USED TO ALSO GIVE COMPLIMENTARY RIDES TO THE PUBLIC.DURING 2016, THE ELECTRIC CAR (ECARRIAGE) WAS USED TO GIVE COMPLIMENTARY RIDES IN AND AROUND NYC. IT WAS ALSO USED IN VARIOUS PARADES AND ANIMAL RIGHTS/ADVOCACY EVENTS IN AND AROUND NYC.
