WE CONTINUED OUR OFFERINGS TO THE PUBLIC FOR LEARN TO ROW AND ROWING FITNESS CLASSES AT THE PITTSFORD ROWING CENTER, IN PITTSFORD, NY. INCLUDED IN THE INDOOR ROWING CLASSES WAS ROWING INSTRUCTION IN THE INDOOR TANKS AND TRAINING ON THE ROWING MACHINES FOR FITNESS AND COMPETITION. THE GRC ROWED IN SEVERAL REGATTAS INCLUDING THE LIFT BRIDGE IN FAIRPORT, HEAD OF THE GENESEE AND THE PITTSFORD REGATTAS IN ROCHESTER AND OUT OF TOWN REGATTAS IN WELLAND CANADA, PHILADELPHIA AND BOSTON. OUR ON WATER ROWING PROGRAMS ARE FOR ALL LEVELS OF ABILITY INCLUDING LEARN TO ROW, RECREATIONAL ROWING AND COMPETITIVE ROWING. ADDITIONAL ROWING EQUIPMENT WAS AQUIRED WHICH ALLOWED US TO OFFER ADDITIONAL PROGRAMS. GRC PARTICIPATED IN NATIONAL LEARN TO ROW DAY WHICH EXPANDED OUR LEARN TO ROW PROGRAMS, ALLOWING MORE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION.
