HEALTH EDUCATION PROGRAM: SAPNA NYC EMPLOYED 3 COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKERS WHO PROVIDED A VARIETY OF HEALTH EDUCATION PROGRAMS, INCLUDING NUTRITION, MENTAL HEALTH, AND CHILDRENS HEALTH. APPROXIMATELY 250 WOMEN AND CHILDREN WERE REACHED THROUGH THIS PROGRAM.
WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT PROJECTS: SAPNA NYC PROVIDED FINANCIAL LITERACY, OUTREACH AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS, KNOW YOUR RIGHTS WORKSHOPS, AND LEADERSHIP TRAINING TO 150 WOMEN.
ESOL CLASSES: SAPNA NYC PROVIDED " ENGLISH FOR SPEAKERS OF OTHER LANGUAGES" ( ESOL) CLASSES AT THE BEGINNER, INTERMEDIATE, AND ADVANCED LEVELS. APPROXIMATELY 120 WOMEN WERE REACHED THROUGH THIS PROGRAM.
