FRIENDS OF MUIR VALLEY IS A VOLUNTEER-BASED ORGANIZATION CONSISTING OF LIKE-MINDED INDIVIDUALS WHOSE GOAL IT IS TO ENSURE MUIR VALLEY REMAINS OPEN AND FREE TO THE PUBLIC INTO PERPETUITY. THE MOST SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTION TOWARDS THIS GOAL IS TIME, TALENT, AND EFFORT. HOWEVER, AS THE POPULARITY OF THE AREA INCREASED, THE NEED FOR MONETARY CONTRIBUTIONS BECAME CRITICAL. FRIENDS OF MUIR VALLEY ACCEPTS MONETARY DONATIONS WHICH ARE PUT TO USE TOWARDS OPERATING EXPENSES OF MUIR VALLEY (PROPERTY INFRASTRUCTURE, MAINTENANCE, ANNUAL TRAIL DAY EXPENSES, ETC). BASED ON FRIENDS OF MUIR VALLEY'S SUCCESS IN SUPPORTING AND MAINTAINING MUIR VALLEY, THE ORGANIZATION ACCEPTED THE DONATION OF THE MUIR VALLEY PROPERTY IN 2015.
