TO PROMOTE AWARENESS OF AND AID IN SCIENTIFIC AND MEDICAL RESEARCH OF PEDIATRIC HEART CONDITIONS.

THE JAYDEN DELUCA FOUNDATION (JDF) PROMOTES AWARENESS OF CARDIAC DISEASES AND SEEKS TO FURTHER SCIENTIFIC AND MEDICAL RESEARCH OF PEDIATRIC HEART CONDITIONS. IN 2022, THE FOUNDATION RAISED MONEY FOR THE MATCH AMBULANCE FOR ST. LUKE'S CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL AND CONTINUED FUNDING RESEARCH FOR CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL COLORADO. THE FOUNDATION RAISES THESE FUNDS THROUGH ITS MAJOR EVENTS. THE HEART HERO PROGRAM HELD SIX EVENTS HOSTING 35-40 FAMILIES PER EVENT DURING THE YEAR FOR HEART HEROES AND THEIR FAMILIES. THIS BENEFIT IS AVAILABLE TO ANY CHILD THAT HAS ANY SORT OF CONGENITAL HEART DEFECT SUPPORTING BOTH THEM AND THEIR FAMILIES.


THE FOUNDATION INTRODUCED A PATIENT ASSISTANCE FUND PROGRAM DURING 2022 WHICH SPONSORED 15 FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN WITH PEDIATRIC HEART CONDITIONS. THE JDF PATIENT ASSISTANCE FUND PROGRAM SEEKS TO ASSIST FAMILIES AND HELP TO COVER COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH MEDICAL PROCEDURES, EQUIPMENT, TRAVEL AND BILLS THAT ARE NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE. DURING 2022 THE FOUNDATION MADE PATIENT ASSISTANCE FUND GRANTS AVAILABLE IN AMOUNTS UP TO $500 PER FAMILY.
