SAVANNAH BICYCLE CAMPAIGN DBA BIKE WALK SAVANNAH'S MISSION IS TO PROMOTE PEOPLE-POWERED MOBILITY AND WORK TOWARD AN EQUITABLE ENVIRONMENT FOR BIKING AND WALKING IN SAVANNAH. TO ACHIEVE THIS, OUR THREE LARGEST PROGRAMS IN 2019 INCLUDED OUR ONGOING WORK THROUGH NEW STANDARD CYCLES, WHERE WE TAKE IN DONATED BIKES, MAKE NECESSARY REPAIRS, AND DISTRIBUTE THEM THROUGH SERVICE PARTNERS TO PEOPLE IN NEED OF TRANSPORTATION. OUR SECOND LARGEST PROGRAM IS OUR ONGOING BICYCLE RIDES, INCLUDING THE MOONLIGHT GARDEN RIDE, MATT'S MOON RIVER CRUISE, TWEED RIDE AND SEERSUCKER RIDE, WHICH ARE FAMILY-FRIENDLY COMMUNITY RIDES THAT FOSTER A SENSE OF SAFETY WHILE RIDING IN SAVANNAH. OUR THIRD LARGEST PROGRAM IS EDUCATON CLASSES FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS.
