IBRBS ENDED THE TAX YEAR WITH NEARLY 1,700 MEMBERS, A DROP OF 600 MEMBERS DUE TO COVID-19.LIKE MANY ORGANIZATIONS AND BUSINESSES, COVID-19 IMPACTED THE ORGANIZATION. WE EXPECT THAT FOR THE BALANCE OF THE CALENDAR YEAR, OUR MEMBERSHIP MAY LEVEL OUT. WE DID RESCHEDULE MANY EVENTS, BUT WE HAVE YET TO SEE THE FULL IMPACT OF THE VIRUS TO THE HEALTH AND LIVELIHOOD OF OUR MEMBERS. IBRBS IS WELL-RECOGNIZED FOR ITS MEMBER BENEFITS AND PROGRAMS, AND DURING THE TAX YEAR, REPORT THESE ACCOMPLISHMENTS:-THE SANTAS HEART PROGRAM CONTINUED INTO ITS SIXTH YEAR. THIS PROGRAM RECOGNIZED MEMBERS CHARITABLE HOURS, KEY EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES THAT HAD A MAJOR IMPACT UPON THE COMMUNITIES IN WHICH THEY LIVE AND WORK. THE PROGRAM HONORED INTERNATIONAL AND REGIONAL RECIPIENTS. IBRBS IS VERY PROUD OF THE TENS OF THOUSANDS OF HOURS OUR MANY MEMBERS CONTINUE TO CONTRIBUTE, EITHER PRO-BONO OR AT REDUCED RATES, TO LOCAL, REGIONAL, AND NATIONAL CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS.-IBRBS AWARDED EIGHT $250 SCHOLARSHIPS TO A CHRISTMAS PERFORMER SCHOOL.-IBRBS AWARDED THREE $500 HIGHER EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIPS TO IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBERS, INCREASING THE NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIPS FROM TWO TO THREE.-IBRBS NEGOTIATED AND FACILITATED ACCESS TO ENTERTAINERS LIABILITY INSURANCE AT NO INCREASE IN COST. THESE PACKAGES HAVE BECOME AN INDUSTRY STANDARD FOR PROFESSIONAL SANTAS AND MRS. CLAUSES.-IBRBS NEGOTIATED AND FACILITATED ACCESS TO DEEPLY DISCOUNTED AND SUBSIDIZED BACKGROUND CHECKS FOR MEMBERS AND FRIENDS OF MEMBERS AND EXPERIENCED A RECORD NUMBER OR MORE THAN 1,100 REQUESTED BACKGROUND CHECKS.-DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, IBRBS ALTERED ITS PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED PLANS TO HOST THE BIENNIAL INTERNATIONAL SANTA CELEBRATION (ISC) IN APRIL 2020 IN ATLANTA. THE EVENT WAS RESCHEDULED TO APRIL 2022. WE ISSUED APPROXIMATELY 200 REFUNDS AND HOPE TO BEGIN RESELLING TICKETS IN JANUARY 2022.-IBRBS INTRODUCED ITS NEW WEBSITE, OPERATING UNDER ITS NEW DOMAIN NAME IBRBS.ORG A MUCH SHORTER VERSION OF THE PREVIOUS IBRBSANTAS.ORG. WE ALSO SET UP OUR NEW EMAIL USING THE NEW DOMAIN AND A NEW WEB HOST, A2HOSTING INSTEAD OF OUR PREVIOUS HOST, GODADDY.-IBRBS CONTINUED ITS PRACTICE TO OFFER COMMUNICATIONS FOR ITS MEMBERS, INCLUDING A MEMBERS-ONLY FACEBOOK PAGE, QUARTERLY NEWSLETTERS, WEBSITE (IBRBS.ORG), AND A MEMBERS-ONLY PORTAL.-IBRBS GREW ITS AFFILIATED, AUTONOMOUS CHAPTERS TO 51. CHAPTERS OFFER LOCAL AND REGIONAL NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES TO BOTH IBRBS AND NON-IBRBS MEMBERS. -IBRBS CONTINUED ITS UPGRADE OF ITS INFRASTRUCTURE TO IMPROVE PROCESSES, INCREASE STANDARDIZATION, AND AUTOMATE MANUAL PROCEDURES.
