THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES TRAINING AND SUPPORT TO STUDENT LAW CLERKS, NEW PUBLICDEFENDERS, CHIEF DEFENDERS AND OTHER INDIGENT DEFENSE PROVIDERS. THE PROGRAM ISDESIGNED TO BUILD A COMMITTED, CONSCIENTIOUS AND COMPETENT COMMUNITY OF PUBLICDEFENDERS ACROSS THE NATION DEDICATED TO A HIGH STANDARD OF LEGAL REPRESENTATION FORTHE CLIENTS THEY SERVE. DURING 2021, THE ORGANIZATION TRAINED 359 INDIGENT DEFENSE PROVIDERS IN ITS WINTER SESSION, 384 INDIGENT DEFENSE PROVIDERS IN ITS SUMMER SESSION, AND 166 LAW STUDENTS IN ITS SUMMER LAW CLERK PROGRAM.
