WILMINGTON SEAHAWKS HOCKEY ASSOCIATION PROVIDES A PROGRAM OF ICE HOCKEY EDUCATION, INSTRUCTION, AND COMPETITION FOR YOUTH RESIDING IN THE COASTAL REGION OF NORTH CAROLINA AND SURROUNDING AREAS THROUGH TEAM LEAGUES, HOCKEY CAMPS AND EDUCATIONAL CLINICS FOR PARTICIPANTS TO ENABLE MEMBERS TO DEVELOP THEIR ICE HOCKEY SKILLS AND SUCCESSFULLY COMPETE IN THE GAME ICE HOCKEY. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES QUALIFIED USA HOCKEY CERTIFIED COACHING AT ALL LEVELS AND OVERSEES THE DEVELOPMENT AND CONTINUING EDUCATION OF ALL ITS COACHES. THE ORGANIZATION CHARGES EACH YOUTH HOCKEY PLAYER REGISTRATION FEES THAT COVER THE COST OF ICE TIME RENTAL FOR BOTH PRACTICES AND GAMES, AS WELL AS OTHER ADMINISTRATIVE FEES SUCH AS THE COST OF LEAGUE FEES, TOURNAMENT EXPENSES, AND TO COVER PAYMENTS MADE FOR COACH STIPENDS, REFEREE FEES, AS WELL AS TO PAY FOR THE SERVICES OF THE ORGANIZATIONS HOCKEY DIRECTOR.
