PIONEERING MINDS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM: SPONSORED STUDENTS TO SCHOOL/ TUITION INCLUDING EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS FOR A NUMBER OF CHILDREN TO ATTEND BETTER PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS AND TECHNICAL TRAINING PROGRAMS BASED ON FINANCIAL NEED AND EDUCATIONAL CAPABILITY AND GOALS DETERMINED ON A CHILD BY CHILD BASIS; OUR SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM CONTINUED TO REACH 40 STUDENTS, RANGING IN AGES FROM 11-20 YEARS OLD, NOW INCLUDING UNIVERSITY FOR THOSE OLDEST AND FARTHEST ALONG IN THEIR EDUCATIONAL STUDIES.
LUNCH PROGRAM: KNOCK PROVIDED SCHOOL LUNCH AT MRUPANGA PRIMARY SCHOOL FOR THE EIGHTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR AND AT LONGUO PRIMARY SCHOOL FOR THE FIFTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR, TO A TOTAL OF OVER 850 STUDENTS. STUDENT ATTENDANCE AND PERFORMANCE CONTINUES TO BE STRONG.BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND LIVELIHOODS: THIS YEAR WE CONTINUED OUR PROVISION OF ACCESS TO CAPITAL FOR SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, FOCUSING ON AGRICULTURE AND ANIMAL HUSBANDRY. NO NEW LOANS WERE MADE, JUST SERVICING OF THE EXISTING LOANS.
