CURE BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION, INC. WAS ESTABLISHED AND IS TO BE OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY TO FURTHER CHARITABLE AND SCIENTIFIC PURPOSES. THE FOUNDATION WILL RAISE FUNDS FROM FUNDRAISING EVENTS SUCH AS GOLF OUTINGS AND OTHER FUNDRAISING EVENTS, INVESTMENT INCOME AND CONTRIBUTIONS FROM INDIVIDUALS AND THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY. THE FOUNDATION WILL MAKE GRANTS TO SUPPORT ACTIVITIES AND PROJECTS RELATING TO THE CAUSES, PREVENTION, TREATMENT AND CURE OF BREAST CANCER, SUCH AS RESEARCH, DRUG TRIALS AND OTHER MEDICAL AND/OR SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITIES AND PROJECTS.

ALBERT EINSTEIN COLLEGE OF MEDICINE:STUDYING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN BONE METABOLISM AND BREAST CANCER. A PAPER DESCRIBING THE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE FUNCTION OF BONE-FORMING CELLS AND BREAST CANCER BIOLOGY IS SOON TO BE PUBLISHED. THIS WORK RELATES TO BOTH BREAST CANCER AND OSTEOPOROSIS, TWO COMMON PROBLEMS IN POST-MENOPAUSAL WOMEN THROUGHOUT THE WORLD.
BREAST CANCER RESEARCH:GRANTS ARE GIVEN TO ORGANIZATIONS TO BE USED FOR RESEARCH ON A CURE FOR PATIENTS WITH BREAST CANCER AT THE MEMORIAL SLOAN KETTERING CANCER CENTER AS WELL AS OTHER NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL BREAST CANCER RESEARCH ORGANIZATIONS.
