REALITY MINISTRIES CONDUCTS DAILY PROGRAMS FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES. THIS YEAR WE AVERAGED SERVING OVER 200 INDIVIDUALS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES WEEKLY. THE HEART OF THIS MINISTRY IS FRIENDSHIP ROOTED IN CHRIST'S LOVE. OUR HOPE IS THAT LIFE-LONG FRIENDSHIPS WILL BE MADE AMOUNG PARTICIPANTS AND VOLUNTEERS. ALL PARTICIPANTS HAVE A ONE ON ONE VOLUNTEER.
REALITY MINISTRIES HAS ESTABLISHED 3 COMMUNAL LIVING HOUSES (CORNER HOUSE AND 2 FRIENDSHIP HOUSES) THAT ALLOW PARTICIPANTS WITH INTELLECTUAL DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES TO LIVE ON THEIR OWN WITH THE SUPPORT OF REALITY VOLUNTEERS AND STAFF. ALL OF THE RESIDENTS PAY A DISCOUNTED RENT TO LIVE IN THE HOUSES AND COMMIT TO CARING FOR EACH OTHER.
