DELIVER HEALTH CARE FOR UNINSURED AND UNDERINSURED INDIVIDUALS IN CHATHAM COUNTY. IN 2020 THE CHATHAM COUNTY SAFETY NET PLANNING COMPLETED A COMMUNITY ORAL HEALTH NEEDS ASSESSMENT OF 599 CHATHAM COUNTY RESIDENTS TO ASSIST THE PLANNING COUNCIL IN BETTER UNDERSTANDING THE ORAL HEALTH NEEDS OF RESIDENTS TO ASSIST THE ORAL HEALTH INITIATIVE COMMITTEE IN DEVELOPING RECOMMENDATIONS TO ADDRESS RESIDENT DENTAL NEEDS AND EXPAND CAPACITY WITHIN THE DENTAL SAFETY NET. THERE WERE 125 ORAL HEALTH VOLUNTEERS WHO WORKED 220 ORAL HEALTH VOLUNTEER HOURS. 213 INDIVIDUALS COMPLETED 16 HOURS OF ASIST TRAINING SESSIONS; 5,306 INDIVIDUALS COMPLETED 30 MINUTES OF SUICIDE TALK AND/OR QPR TRAINING; 1,349 INDIVIDUALS COMPLETED A MINUTE MINDFUL SELF-COMPASSION TRAINING; 289 INDIVIDUALS COMPLETED TRAUMA SENSITIVE INTERACTIONS AND COMMUNITY RESILIENCY MODEL (CRM) WORKSHOPS; IN COLLABORATION WITH THE TRAUMA TRAINING INSTITUTE IN BOSTON, MA, WE PROVIDED THE TRAUMA DRAMA (TD) FACILITATOR TRAINING WITH A TOTAL OF 36 PEOPLE COMPLETING THE TRAINING; FACILITATED 35 FRONT PORCH ACTS (TRAUMA DRAMA) WORKSHOPS WITH 182 PARTICIPANTS; BUILT CAPACITY AND IMPLEMENTED A TRAUMA SENSITIVE YOGA (TSY) PROGRAMMING TO SERVE YOUTH AND ADOLESCENTS WITH COMPLEX TRAUMA; HOSTED A TSY FACILITATOR TRAINING AND TRAINED 17 LOCAL YOGA TEACHERS IN THIS THERAPEUTIC YOGA ADAPTATION.
