Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
FRESH START FOR ALL NATIONS (FRESH START) HAS MULTIPLE WEEKLY MEETINGS IN OMAHA, NE AS AN OUTREACH TO AND WITH OTHER MINISTRIES IN OUR CITY. THE MEETING FORMAT IS DESIGNED AS BOTH AN OUTREACH EVENT, AND NEW LEADER DEVELOPMENT. THE CORE TEACHING AND TRAINING REVOLVES AROUND HOW TO DEAL WITH AND RESOLVE OFFENSES, AND HOW TO PROCESS THE EFFECTS, HURTS AND LOSSES THAT COME FROM THOSE OFFENSES. PARTICIPANTS ARE PROVIDED OPPORTUNITIES TO JOIN SMALL GROUPS WHERE THEY CAN "PROCESS THE ISSUES OF THEIR HEART" IN COMMUNITY WITH OTHERS WHO UNDERSTAND, LOVE, AND SUPPORT THEM. FOR THOSE NOT JOINING SMALL GROUPS THERE IS ALSO AN EDUCATIONAL COMPONENT TO THE MEETINGS CALLED THE FREEDOM CURRICULUM. THIS CURRICULUM ADDRESSES ISSUES OF UNFORGIVENESS, PRIDE, SHAME, FEAR, REJECTION, ANGER, AND DEPRESSION. WHEN THOSE ISSUES REMAIN UNRESOLVED, THEY HINDER PEOPLE FROM EXPERIENCING 'A FRESH START FOR THEIR HEART.'IN ADDITION TO NEBRASKA, THE FRESH START CURRICULUM AND FORMAT OF MINISTRY IS ACTIVE NATIONALLY IN SEVEN OTHER STATES (ALASKA, GEORGIA, ILLINOIS, MISSOURI, OKLAHOMA, TENNESSEE, AND TEXAS) AND INTERNATIONALLY HAS BEEN OFFERED IN LOCATIONS INCLUDING UGANDA, BOTSWANA, SOUTH AFRICA, BURUNDI, GUATEMALA, ARGENTINA, BOLIVIA, COSTA RICA, NICARAGUA, EL SALVADOR, GREECE AND THE HOLY LAND.
